Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Lovely afternoon tea, with a good selection and nice amount for the number of people. Cute decor and a nice atmosphere, tho service was a little slow, however, there seemed to be only 2 members of staff looking after everybody. Would definitely go back, the ginger cake was a real stand out."
"I really enjoyed the tea for 1, cute quaint and I loved the scone. I had the lavender earl Grey tea, it was truly perfection. Perfect for a rainy day!"
"Very cute setting for afternoon tea. They have a variety of sandwiches and tea. There is a high tea option but you need to book in advance. I tried a chai and it was very average and mostly tasted like cloves. I ended up ordering some peach iced tea instead. The sandwich options were good and come with some crisps."
"Fantastic afternoon tea. The team catered for a group of 25 people on a Saturday afternoon before Christmas and we have no issues or faults. It was exceptional. The team looked after us all. The afternoon tea Was a Christmas theme and was delicious. The scones and gingerbread cake amazing! The tea plentiful and always topped us and everyone so accommodating and friendly. Thank you for having us and thank you for a great afternoon !"
"Don't miss this beautiful place when you visit Glasgow! The atmosphere is great, the staff was very nice and helpful. The tea was served in a funny teapot. We had a sandwich and a wrap, both were great."
"We ordered a London Fog pot for two along with a cherry cake, and it was an unforgettable experience. The tea was perfectly brewed, smooth, fragrant, and full of flavor, with just the right balance of creaminess and sweetness. Truly the best tea I’ve ever had. The cherry cake was fresh, moist, and paired beautifully with the tea, making every bite a delight. On top of that, the tea room itself feels like stepping into a fantasy , filled with dolls and charming teapots that make the atmosphere so special and inviting. This place has quickly become one of my favorites in Glasgow, and I know I’ll be coming back again and again. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!"
"There's a good selection of teas, you can get a pot for two which is a better value, I think it's actually too much tea for two people but the Peach Melba tea was really good. We had scones, tripple chocolate and fruit, they tased good, a little sweet maybe. It was a good stop from walking through the city."
"Absolutely lovely tea room in a quaint little lane. The staff is always very kind and efficient, I have always been seated quickly and my orders come out promptly. The pricing is very reasonable especially in comparison to other tea places in the surrounding areas. I always make the time to swing by when I am in the city and I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a cute little tea stop."
